What’s new for 2018?

Every year we invest over £5 million into our Devon Holiday Parks so there will be lots that’s new for 2018. We believe that constant investment is what makes your holiday better every year. It also means that we can continue to offer innovative new products and services.

New for 2018: Entertainment & activities

Our family pantomime has become one of our must-see events of the year and for 2018 we’re doing our take on ‘Dick Whittington’ it’s going to be based at Golden Coast Holiday Park. And it’ll be joined in the school holidays by a new ‘Pirates & Princesses’ touring show.

In November we’ll be revealing a new ParkStars’ production show, new nature activities at Twitchen House Holiday Park and kids’ club activities too.

New for 2018: New caravans

In 2017 we introduced our New Wave range as part of our biggest ever investment in caravans. Until now. We’re adding a record 152 new caravans to our Devon Holiday Parks which includes 2-bedroom New Wave Silver and New Wave Gold models. Some of the New Wave Gold caravans at Twitchen House are 4-foot longer, include decking and master bedroom en-suite.

There will also be new 3-bedroom New Wave Silver, New Wave Gold, New Wave Platinum and New Wave Exclusive caravans. The latter are our biggest and most luxurious top of the range caravans ever. At 13-foot wide the Exclusive ‘Azure’ model is larger than our other caravans. There is also a unique living area with side aspect doors and an ‘island’ kitchen with breakfast bar.

Continuing the theme of innovation, we’re also introducing our first ever 4-bedroom caravans at Twitchen House. In our New Wave Silver range we intended them for the growing number of ‘3-G’ holidays; 3 generations sharing a caravan together. And of course they’re popular with two families sharing too, a trend very popular in our 4-bedroom Surf Lodges.

New for 2018: New lodges with hot tubs

We started with five lodges in 2016 and doubled the number this year. But it still isn’t enough. That is why there are an additional eight lodges joining Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park from Easter 2018. Each offers something different from our existing lodges with hot tubs:

Surf Lodge 4-bedroom with 2 en-suites

It does what it says on the tin. Now with two master bedrooms both with king size beds and an en-suite bedroom. Both twin bedrooms are also the same size. So if two families are sharing the lodge then no one misses out! The kitchen gets a new design with an island for the cooker.

Surfscape Lodge 3-bedroom

This lodge takes the best parts of our other Surf Lodges and ramps it up. There’s two sets of patio doors so the whole front of the lodge opens out. Perfect for making the best of their location – raised up and looking out to sea.In the kitchen there is a huge island with a 4-stool breakfast bar, wine cooler and integrated appliances as well as a Velux roof light.

The master bedroom is where the wow really is; it’s huge with an expanded dressing area leading to an en-suite with a double washbasin. And let’s not forget that as well as TVs in every bedroom, our Surfscape Lodge also has a waterproof TV at the end of the bath.

Surfview Lodge 3-bedroom

Introducing the absolute summit in lodge luxury. Our largest ever lodge with hot tub is a whopping 22-foot wide, and 38% more space than our 3-bedroom lodges. They feature a centre lounge layout with a big roof light and double patio doors leading onto the enormous decking. As the name suggests, they’re on the very best lodge plots with a view out to sea.

You’d expect an island kitchen so it’s got that along with a breakfast bar, 5-ring induction hob and all the integrated appliances you’d expect from the pinnacle in luxury lodge homes.

The jaw dropping features keep coming in Surfview. The master bedroom has a super king size bed, patio doors leading straight onto the deck, dressing area. The large en-suite has a freestanding double-ended bath. The second bedroom has zip-and-link beds so it can either be a king size or two twin beds, again with patio doors onto the decking.

New for 2018: Refurbished seaside lodges

Golden Coast will see a number of 3-bedroom lodges on Lakeside and all the 2-bedroom lodges on Sunnyside refurbished to become Seaside Silver Lodges. Fresh coastal decor and extra features include a larger TV in the lounge, TV in the master bedroom, refurbished bathrooms and kitchen. Each lodge will have a new frontage and upgraded outdoor area.

New for 2018: Expanded pet friendly options

We now offer our widest ever choice of dog friendly accommodation with designated 2 & 3 -bedroom Silver and Gold caravans at Twitchen House welcoming pets. Some of our popular Gold Woodland 3-bedroom caravans with decking and en-suite master bedroom will also be available for pet friendly holidays. We now offer pet friendly breaks right from Bronze up to Exclusive across our Parks.

New for 2018: Surf Village at Woolacombe Bay

It’s our vision of the future. Holiday Homes arranged in cul-de-sacs for more space and privacy plus individual parking for 2 cars per plot. All of our lodges with hot tubs will be within this area as well as our unique boutique Surf Pod.

The development is intended for our next generation lodges, but for 2018 we will have a small number of brand new luxury caravans in a separate part of the Surf Village. Woolacombe Bay Holiday Village is a hugely popular Park and this will enable more families to enjoy caravan, lodge or glamping holidays with us from Easter right through to October half term.

Sustainable family holidays

We’re always looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint. So since 1st September 2017 we are now using only electricity generated from renewal sources on our Parks.
