Easter Holidays

Easter in Woolacombe

The Easter holidays are here, the skies are already blue in North Devon and, despite the frosty mornings, the first hints of a long and warm Summer are in the air. Our Holiday Parks are now all open and we’re enjoying the Spring season.

When is Easter? Easter Sunday is late in 2019, falling on 21st April.

It’s a holiday filled with chocolate eggs, bunnies, a double bank holiday and special religious significance. Easter is a celebration of new life, the trees are budding, daffodils are in bloom, crops are being sown and eggs are being painted, so we’re finalising preparations for our Easter guests.

Easter Holidays at our Devon Holiday Parks

Our Parks offer nothing but fun for the whole family over the Easter holidays. Sports activities, poolskids’ clubs – from tots to teens – fantastic facilities and, of course, our dazzling entertainment.

Woolacombe Beach is on our doorstep – voted one of the Best Beaches in Britain by TripAdvisor in 2019. Take a leisurely stroll along miles of golden sand to burn off that chocolate breakfast, and then pop to the Old Mill at Golden Coast Holiday Park for your Sunday carvery, or choose from one of our other restaurants.

What’s hiding in the dunes?

The Easter Bunny has been out and about in the Woolacombe sand dunes, hiding clues for a chocolate treat. Take a sandy adventure and follow the trail around Woolacombe Warren, perfect for the little ones, and get ready to claim your Cadbury’s prize!

The Bunny has also hopped over to Baggy Point and left a whole bunch of other clues. It’s a longer walk but let’s you enjoy beautiful coastal scenery and a stretch of glorious sandy beach.

Trail maps are available from the Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre.
