Are the Easter eggs running out?
They might be.
So, we’re in the Easter school holidays and those huge displays of eggs in the shops are fast running out! There used to be a pile of chocolate eggs on sale, just after the double bank holiday, however Supermarkets have become wise to this. Stock levels have been reduced to stop waste.
In fact, we’re already leaving it a bit late buying for the Easter bank holiday weekend now as we’re in the highest period of buying boxes of air-filled chocolate. In 2007 many children had to go without their chocolate-fuelled Easter Sunday as supermarkets hadn’t planned to stock enough! This year it seems the cheaper eggs have been sold early and the £10 Easter eggs are being wheeled out for the unwary shopper.
Some offers are still available if you shop around, however this weekend will see many shops run out or left with very little to satisfy the chocolate demand, don’t miss out.
Are our Easter breaks running out?
Again, they might be!
This Easter is lining up to be the biggest we’ve ever had at our Devon Holiday Parks. Our remaining holiday accommodation is extremely limited, and our Camping & Touring pitches are set to sell out soon. We’ve had a huge interest in Devon Holidays since early in the year and it’s a last-minute rush by many of our guests to ensure they spend the Easter Weekend with us here in glorious North Devon.
We are ever hopeful that the weather will remain fair for the Easter bank holiday weekend, currently blue skies and sunny each day, mostly – albeit a chilly early morning start. When it’s sunny in Woolacombe, locals and visitors alike rush to the miles of sand that make our Beach one of the Best in Britain, as voted by TripAdvisor in 2019. Again, we say don’t miss out!
What’s on in Woolacombe at Easter?
Loads of entertainment and activities!
On our Devon Holiday Parks, we have Easter themed arts & crafts, face painting and egg hunts – from a 0-4 yr’s mini hunt, a wonderland hunt for all ages and a more eggs-treme hunt for the older kids. And don’t miss our annual bonnet parade on Easter Sunday evening, with a prize for best hat!
